4 goals of the week:
1) Eat a healthy breakfast every morning.
I've been trying to make and bring breakfast to work once a week for the past month. So I bought salmon, lettuce, long beans, sweet peas, mushrooms etc to whip up something I like for breakfast. I have been very guilty of skipping breakfast when I was still studying, and boyfriend has also convinced me that skipping meals will backfire on my dieting plans. On other days, I typically buy a cup of milo, or munch on 2 pieces of bread, or 3 siew-mais or sometimes an egg-tart for breakfast while I'm at work. Okay I just did a quick check on HPB diet tracker app, 3 siew-mais are 87kcals, and contain 3g of fat, and 1 egg tart is like 178kcal and has 10g of fat. Oops. I need to cut down on the egg tarts.
2) Drink more water
I don't think I drink enough water throughout the day. I bought a nice red polka dotted water bottle at Daiso 2 weeks back, and it's very portable, so hopefully that helps. I also need to cut down on sugary drinks (e.g., milo, chin chow, and BUBBLE TEA), and replace it with water or green tea. Plus drinking more water throughout the day helps in weight loss! I'm going to challenge myself to only having 1 bubble tea this week, and buy myself a nice dress if I manage not to drink anything this week :)
3) Exercise once a week.
I hurt my left heel while bollywood dancing 2 weeks ago, and it's still causing me much pain when I walk. So I have to halt my Amore Fitness classes for the time being to let it heal. Maybe I could challenge myself to just swimming once this week :)
